I am guessing Jose will have instructed his 'big men' to take turns in kicking Silva and KdB and to wind up Otamendi, and this childish remark is an insurance policy designed by him to put pressure on the referee and other match officials, before the game even stars, to make it harder for them to award a penalty against Utd or book/send-off a Utd player.
I never liked the guy and probably never will, but he can say what he wants and do what he wants, as long the City team do not react (as that is what he would like to happen) and keep their focus on playing Peps beautiful winning style of retention and passing football that is all that matters; win, lose, or draw.
