It could be argued that they've stopped making progress under him anyway. But given their financial situation it is going to be hard for them to make big progress in the next few years. They're like Arsenal 2. How pleasing that must be to their fans.

Aye probably better if Real choose Klopp
Klopp ain't making great strides in the league either. If they have a similar season in the Prem next season and get knocked out of the Chumps earlier, he'll be under pressure all of a sudden.

Also looks like their stadium won't be finished in time - they may not move in until November / December. Bit of a farce if that happens
