No seriously there’s no pace
Why did we selll Hendry? As I remember we sold him for less than a million and brought in "quicksilver" for 2 and a half million. Looks to have lost what pace he had now.
He’s playing alright today too, it’s against Abby hey for charity I think. One of the Whitley’s, Richard edgehill Eric Nixon Michael brown (who scored). It’s bringing it all back huffing and puffing struggling to win and giving the ball away a lot!
Hendry was a very good defender and scored a few goals for us too. I reckon he'd have made a good partner for Curle. Some managers just don't rate some players but we did need more pace at the back at the time.
I wouldn't want to get into a fight with that team, there's some hard nutters in there.
