one thing i dont get is the worship of shankly, fagan and paisley both won more. only reason i get is oh well he started it ... hughes bought kompany and zabaletta, no fucker is saying he started owt

I'd still have Roberto just above Pep in the list of best City managers post Mercer. It does matter that Roberto started it for me. Just as the fact that Mercer took us up from Division Two to be Champions still makes him the best ever. Hughes never was really a City manager for me. Dunno how the rags accepted Busby so easily. Okay, if Hughes had been as good as Busby then I might have accepted him eventually but Hughes was shite. Roberto took us from also rans still to Champions of England.

I suspect that Pep could overtake Roberto this season though....
