Mixed half, some lovely football but poor finishing again. Shame about Laporte but it was a poor challenge from him. Looked a certain penalty on Mahrez. God knows what the ref was doing at the end giving it their keeper after he gave a hand ball against David for pointing out the ball was flat. He just didn't have a clue what he was doing.
Still playing in third gear but still winning. Aguero on fire 🔥 and the best is to come.
Shame about Laporte injury as he is a big player for us. Amazing that Fernandinho slots In seamlessly.
That was a fantastic clearance by Fernandinho with his head. Some great football was played today and Brighton had their chances too. Sergio was at his deadly best and I felt sure he would go on to get a hat trick but unfortunately not to be. I'm getting used to cheering the opposition kick offs but there's definitely less joy in football now with the angst of VAR in the back of the mind when the ball hits the net.
