Well, I think that sends a statement to all our PL rivals and critics.
8-0 was quite a generous scoreline to them in the end. They actually had a couple of chances early on. But by the end they can only thank City's wastefulness that it wasn't double figures. My favourite goal was KDB's blaster. Another day to savour.
Superb day in the sun. Very clinical in front of goal for the first 5. Thought Fernandinho was great at CB and good to see Mendy get some minutes.
Watford gave us the time and space to do what we wanted. We took them up on their invitation.
