Sterling looking a bit lack lustre so far. Holding on to the ball too long. Fluffing opportunities. How good is David Silva still though?

Sterling promptly makes me look stupid 😁.

Wouldn't have got it without Silva though...

Same old problems for this season.

Not much energy in the side today.

Absolutely static for their equaliser.

walking pace so far

Foden gives us more energy in midfield, I really can’t understand why he hasn’t been used more this season given our injuries.

We need to go up three or four gears in this second half. We are getting the ball around and into the box and it should fall for us again in the end but we can't rely on that. When we do get the opportunity to break, we have to do it with pace.

Dire ffs , get Bernardo and Foden on to lift the tempo

How poor is our physicality? Too many players being out muscled in 50 - 50 contests.

That's terrible from Jesus. Player of his quality has to score there.

Yep, hitting it right at the keeper was piss poor.

FFS - we can't hit a fucking barn door!

Like how the ref just ignored the flying elbow just before the goal.

Rubbish City. And you can blame Mendy for that goal. His poor touch led to the free kick.

Mendy has been poor today. Not alone though. Poor up front again. I’m sorry but I’ve never rated Jesus.

Not good enough. To let a team like Newcastle score two is shameful but we have been poor all over really. Only KDB can hold his head high.

We’re just not at the races this season.

We can ship Mendy out. What happened to him? A shadow of the player we first brought in!

Mendy not good enough , simple , lost to many balls and too slow

The more worrying thing for me is that in recent games we’ve been pretty boring to watch. Gone is the skill, flare and speed.

Thought Wednesday night was poor, This was pathetic. Why must we keep trying to walk it in. Jesus and Mendy were total crap as were the rest except for the goal scorers...

We seemed to immediately lose concentration after KdB's goal, like the job was done. Too much head tennis and long balls suddenly dropped into our play - and Newcastle got a last sniff. Should have kept it tight, with the ball on the deck, and made them chase. But Mendy gets in a muddle, fails to execute a basic pass, thus obliging Fernandinho to give away the foul (lucky not to be sent off), and Newcastle gets a free kick in a dangerous position they should never have seen sight off. That's really disappointing.

There is no leadership on the pitch, no defender or midfielder to grab the game/ players by the scruff of the neck

We have not been at the races for a while. I always predicted it was Liverpools year, third is looking where we will end up.

I'll be disappointed we wont win the league again.I can take defeat. We all remember the dark days and the feeling of being shit.
The thing that bothers me is the scousers winning it.A feeling none of us want.

Still the Peter Swales in us all is to finish above the rags..I'll take that every season.

We’ve  won once in the last 5 games. If that isn’t enough for Pep to make some bold changes I don’t know what is.

Next game, Rodri and Stones at CB, Fernandinho back in midfield (where he belongs) along with Bernardo. Drop Mahrez and Gundogan.

I agree with Hesperus. One thing we desperately need is Fernandinho back in his familiar position.

I really think now is the time to give the academy players a chance to shine. Especially at the back. What have we to lose, the PL is as good as gone anyway.

Kompany is a big miss on and off the pitch

he was the link between the team and manager

currently we dont have a player with his qualities of leadership which is showing on the pitch now

Pep maybe should have looked into this before the big mans departure
