Have we written this season off do you think? I mean we’ve been crying out for defensive reinforcements all season, even without losing Laporte we were already short in that area. I get we’ve given up on the league by January but we’re still in all the cups. However we have a defence that can’t keep a clean sheet against literally any team, we’re surely at risk of ending this season with nothing?
I still say Johnny Evans would have been a good signing for defensive cover

Yeh, Angelino out was a bit of a surprise but not a shock. He looks promising going forward but dodgy defensively - a bit similar to but a bit worse than Mendy I'd say. Watch Mendy get injured this weekend.

Only just seen the option to buy for £25 mill. Actually then it seems like very good business! Although I’d be surprised if anyone actually pays £25 mill for him.

Pablo Mari has gone to Arsenal on loan. Have we missed something, Arteta obviously has faith. Seen Tim Vickery say he was excellent while at Flamengo.
