I didn't see much of it but Phil went off at 0-0. Raheem scored the winner from the penalty spot. It wasn't a good penalty though - low just to the right of the centre of the goal while the keeper dived even further right. One of those if the keeper stood still he could have picked it up. Keep him away from pens for City still.
I'm with you on that gav. Not a great pen, but scored. Unlike the Icelanders.
Foden had an ok game. Problem was the 2 other cm's didn't.
Walker was unlucky with the first yellow, stupid with the second.
Overall, England was flat.
I watched the game only to see how Foden got on. He didn%u2019t have a great game, wasn%u2019t awful, average is about right. He gave the ball away a few times and had limited impact. Looked to me like he was trying a bit too hard and let the occasion get to him. Hopefully he%u2019ll get another chance to show what he can do.
I should add that he was no worse than any other England player. The whole team performance was meh.
