First time I’ve ever said this, and I don’t like saying it but I think Pep should prioritise the PL, FA and CL this year. Just use the league cup to give the young players more valuable experience. Given, injures, lack of squad depth in certain areas, positive Covid results, and potential self isolation over the course of the season we should try to conserve the first team squad as much as possible.

Not seen the press conference, but sounds sensible. I’d like to see this Delap play, good to see him on the bench and I was hoping he’d get a few mins last night.
I'd have thought Mahrez and Torres could do with some game time, maybe 45 mins each but I would expect Doyle, Delap, Bernabe, Harwood-Bellis, Steffen to all start.
