I agree. But the award is just the government pursuing positive publicity. The same government that wouldn’t provide meals until forced to u turn and the same government about to reduce unemployment benefits driving families into poverty and homelessness and driving up child poverty.
A nice ego boost for Marcus but otherwise meaningless.
One complement for this government at least they recognised those at the front line fighting Covid 19 in the honours list.

Yeh, good on the lad for trying to make a difference. But I'd feel a lot better if the Tories actually did something about poverty rather than make meaningless gestures. Priorities in this country are proper fucked up.
I thought we were the blue half of Manchester. A lot of red flags flying here ;)
