Someone explain to me why is it that the rags’ spending is glorified, whilst City’s spending is ruining the game?

It is going to be an interesting summer. I'd be happy to see the rags continue their policy of spending big on individual players and City continue theirs of buying more young and upcoming players at a relatively cheaper price.

The fans say, spend some money! So they slunk a load on Pogba and Maguire. Is there anyone else? That keeps the rag fans happy for a bit and then rinse, repeat.
