Just seen the proposed new format for the 2024 Chumps League... I'm baffled.
36 team league, where each team only plays 10 games 🤔 - then top 8 automatically qualifies for knock outs, and 9th to 24th go into home and away play-offs to see who joins them...

Yep, it is absolutely crazy. It'll be an even worse competition than it is now. I much prefer the FA Cup as a competition. A proper open draw knockout competition.

Should be for Champions of each league only. How can you be champs of Europe when you're not the champs of your domestic league?
All designed for more television revenue for UEFA and the box office clubs a better chance to stay in. Integrity, tradition and fans through the turnstile dont figure.
