That's a casualty rate far in excess of anything experienced by USA armed forces in Iraq or Afghanistan.

To be fair to Obama, he comes out after every massacre and says these laws need to change.
The problem is the senators: PAssing this kind of bill will never get through until a new wave of Americans come through who are more interested in making a change than making a quick buck.

then the blacks should stop killing each other as this is were most of the gun crime comes from, for example, Baltimore this past three months. Also there has been a spike in gun related murders in other big Cities such as Chicago and Detroit, all black-on-black gun crime. All related to drugs and gang violence. this area needs to be addressed for that statistic to come down. Most Americans use guns responsibly.

even without schools the recent church shooting was a white person so was the Movie theatre one
I am not talking about school or church shootings; they are gun related crime statistics. Yes, there are white people that kill or mass murder. Fortunately those types don't occur every night or every day across America. To bring that gun statistic down we have to tackle black-on-black gun crime. For example: In July 45 people were killed by gun violence in Baltimore, all but 2 were black, which also included a 5 month old child and a 53 year old grandmother. Further, more children have been wounded in crossfire. Another disturbing statistic is the fact 40% are being carried out by teenagers thinking its cool to be in a gang. Only two weeks ago 3 teenagers were gunned down and killed in West Baltimore - all black. To tackle this level of gun crime one has to start looking at getting rid of poverty in the inner Cities, as sociologist suggest, poverty is the cause of the gun crime as people seek to make money.
As a non sociologist, I'd suggest everyone having guns is the cause of gun crime.
Simple, ban guns in the homes and on the streets!
