Title: Howard Kendall
Post by: gavin on October 17, 2015, 12:34:16
Yes, dead. Did a good job at City overall. It wasn't the greatest football and he made some unpopular sales but we definitely progressed under him into a short period of stability in the top division. The way he left was a bit of a sickener but as ardent fans of a club we have to understand his desire to go back to the club of his heart. One of our better appointments, definitely.

I never quite forgave him for selling Ian Bishop - on what appeared to be little more than a personal grudge. Huge mistake that. But across the board, yes - one of our better appointments from that period.

And 69 is too young.

Hinchcliffe for Pointon. Good deal foe Everton.
