Probably deserved as he had a decent season scoring some vital goals

He was my choice too.

I couldn't disagree more. I'm not saying he is bad or i have an agenda to get rid, but I don't think he was good enough over the whole season to get poty.

I think his positioning and passing has put us in danger far too many times this season.

In some games he's been too slow to get out wide and stop the cross or shots. And there's more than a couple of times I remember him fucking the pass back, resulting in goalscoring opportunities for the opposition.

I also think he was at fault for the FA Cup final goal, he left Mateta to recieve the return pass, turn and then pass to the assiste


In attack, I think he had a really good start to the season, but didn't do much after that.

I also posted some stats in a different thread showing he was our least productive fullback for goals and assists.


My POTY is Marmoush. Came in and gave us a real lift ina dull season, scoring some crackers too.
Thought Doku had a decent season too.

Well deserved. He put in a lot of effort and was almost ever present. I think better at centre half and now maybe now we have a left back, he can play there permanently.

I agree he's better at CB.

I thought he was a very poor LB this season. Agree with Swiss on his passing and mistakes. Better at CB for sure. Maybe he did deserve it though, which speaks volumes.
