Good luck to him. Atleast he won't play against us!!

Was a good servant to the club and that shouldn't be forgotten

It is a different Nico Gonzalez that is going to Athletico

Not so sure about Ake either but the Turkish stuff could happen yet as their window is open longer yet

Hesperus

Window shut. I'm fairly unimpressed. Our business was below that of Liverpool, arsenal and Chelsea. An obvious and major need for a RB since Walker left. Looks like we're going to sign Donnarumma, a good keeper but who is not comfortable with his feet. I'm glad we signed a LB but the rest of the defence looks slow and error prone.

Since 2023 we've fallen well behind with our recruitment.

Apparently no team has ever won the league after losing 2 of their opening 3 games. I think we may need to be prepared for a very average season. 😐

reddishblue

Gundog has also gone for a kebab.

Gundog

Feelings on our business have been tainted by recent results. There is a long season ahead. It is up to Pep now.

Gundogan gone again

Goodbye to Gundo again. The second spell never reached the heights but does not diminish the glory of the first. An immense midfielder who was always there to score massive goals in the biggest games.

Eddie revolutionised goalkeeping in more than one way. He passed out from the back in a way never done before in English football. Then those long balls. And trophy after trophy after trophy. Including a crucial role in the Champions League final doing his primary job, stopping goals. Along with Gundo, another true legend.
