What a fantastic player he has been for us. A true great of the club. Not as long as some others. But his quality and contribution has been immense. With his recent injury record, letting him go might prove wise. But it is a gamble to let such a player go. It seems that he would not have signed any new contract though so maybe it was the only option with only a year left.

Savinho rumoured to Spurs
Already released Stones and Silva.

If we start with a midfield with Kovacic in it against Bournemouth I'll be concerned and would see the summer as being a failure.
