What happened?

I don't want to go into too much detail because of other individuals involved. However, I was in a hospitality area for a change and I saw someone I know, an 'ordinary' season ticket holder treated with utter disrespect by a member of staff for using the facilities and I walked out in disgust. There has been a few incidents lately that makes me convinced that the club no longer wants the fans that supported the club for decades. They want corporates and wankers in half and half scarves who buy merchandise. This area itself used to be an area for 'ordinary' season ticket and ticket holders and is now corporate. Just because someone doesn't pay 3k a year for their ticket doesn't mean that they can be talked to like dirt.

I have to agree with you on the club wanting more corporates and less ordinary true fans. The messaging from the club over season ticket attendance over the last few seasons has me seriously questioning if I want to renew for next season. Being a City fan since birth, for over 50 years, through thick and thin (still more thin) I never thought I'd say that.
