Press speculation linking us with a move for him.

Rumours, rumours, rumours season. That said, he would be one heck of a signing and a big thumbs up from me if it was to happen.

Hector Bellerin

Manchester City are interested in sealing a transfer move for Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin this summer.

Incoming manager Pep Guardiola is reportedly making the Spaniard one of his top targets due to Uefa’s rules on homegrown players.

City fell short of the required number last season, meaning they had to submit a smaller squad for the knockout stages of the Champions League.

Bellerin qualifies as homegrown due to spending three years in England before his 21st birthday, and is in line to replace Pablo Zabaleta, who looks set to leave.

According to The Times, City are also after Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere, who may be a more realistic target.

Bellerin has been one of Arsenal’s top performers over the last two seasons, and Arsene Wenger will be keen not to let him go, though he has lost big names to City in the recent past.

Fuck off with Jack Wilshire. Not that enamoured by Bellerin either. Lightweight.

He's a good player, fast as lighting and definitely an upgrade on what we have.

Bonus of being home grown and winding up their fans even more. Perhaps they will take Nasri back as part of the deal.

I can only assume we are looking at Wilshere because of the 'home-grown' rule? I won't be comfortable seeing him in a City shirt - surely we can do better than that?

Oh god no, not another crock

Do Etihad own a private hospital in the UK with beds that need filling, lets see, club buys crocked players, puts them in Etihad Hospital with massive ICU and specialist fee's, hospital makes a huge profit, they invest in 18 new wards so huge increase in net worth of the business, club makes a loss and pays zero tax, in fact has tax credits
