Im a fan of Devo  :)

The Carpenters had a massive hit with Calling Occupants Of Interplanetary Craft but it was written and first recorded as an album track by 70's prog band Klaatu

nice one goat love he still has the price tag on his guitar. Have heard Devo before.
Not a fan of that Calling Alians song Nimmers, but anything sung by other than the Carpenters gets my vote.
For some reason never liked the Carpenters stuff.

Here's another one I like

Sarah McLachlan's version of XTC's Dear God.

Won't be everyone's cup of tea on here, but a fine rendition of one of Andy Partridge's most powerful lyrics.

I enjoyed most of the "Spaghetti Incident"? album. Just a shame that it signalled the end for G'N'R.

Pretty inevitable G n R would break up when Axl Rose is bi-polar they're most difficult people to live with long term.
Often very talented though.
