I wouldn't image so, it's not as if she lied as far as I can make out.

She said she was too drunk to give consent he said he thought she did.

From the evidence I read I didn't think he should have been convicted. Though he hardly comes out of this well. Young players should learn a lesson from this regardless of Ched being cleared. Treat people with respect and decency.

He is innocent but his behaviour is that of imho a low life.

Front page story in today's Guardian has this, which I hadn't previously realized:

"The prosecution said she could not possibly have consented, as she was too intoxicated. She has never alleged that Evans or McDonald raped her."

So he served his time for an alleged offence that the other person involved did not even make a complaint about? That seems strange...
