Unfortunately they've got a very good player, and you'll see a totally different player to the one at Arsenal. I can only hope Maureen's anti football negates his talent.

My opinion is that they were so desperate that they offered wages so ridiculous as to ensure they got him. I think they knew City wouldn't match them as they didn't with Alves in the summer. City are the new paragons of restraint.

get the money thing though not my main motive in life.
however he'd have got well paid & (likely) won EPL this season with Ciy so move seems odd to me.
also think he knows under Pep he's just a team player no egos allowed to dominate which makes me wonder?
