Dave was injured last week and probably is this week. Bit surprised to see Gundog instead of KDB even though KDB only came back this week. Sterling, who also came back this week, is in in preference to Sane which is also a surprise.

Decent enough half. Great to see Raheem score. He knows when it's important.

Awesome to start with a breeze of s win. The depth of our squad as shown by our bench today (Merlin not even in squad) is mind blowing for a >55 years-a-fan like me.

Good first perfomance overall. Ederson was careless towards the end and Sergio has clearly had better days but really Arsenal only troubled us for consistently for 10 minutes and as soon as they did they were finished off. Considering our record at Arsenal over the years, it is amazing to see that we can go there twice in six months and breeze past them. Not to mention the League Cup Final.

Good start, Mendy looked a bit shaky in defence at times. Stones looking in good form. If everyone is fit, problem will be keeping them all  happy.

Mendy was all over the place. Even in centre forward position once or twice and still storming forward at 2-0 with five minutes to go. He was mixed bag of mad frogs today and that is not a reference to his nationality.

Decent opener considering most of the squad hasn't trained together for a while
