Okay - I suppose you have to give Spuds credit for getting stuck in, but Ajax totally capitulated in that second half. Disgraceful. When did a quality side like that, last fold so completely against us? Lucky bastards.

As luck would have it my free BT Sport add-on to the broadband contract ended last week, so I enjoyed missing the 2nd legs given the results and I can skip the final too.

Bad as Ajax were that second half they were not as near as appallingly bad as Barcelona. City have wasted a golden chance this year and we only have ourselves to blame.

Agree KunDB. We blew it in the first leg v Spurs. TBH I'd rather them win it than Liverpool, but really, it was ours for the taking, and a City / Liverpool Champs League final would have been a fitting culmination to a terrific season for both clubs. Oh well...
