Are to be introduced this season at grass roots for dissent, a player can be sent to the touchline for 10mins and cannot be substituted during that time and he will not be carded. Who thinks it is a good idea ?. I do...

It will be interesting to see how it works. If it had been brought in when Rooney was still playing he should never have been on the pitch.

What does "grass roots" mean? If this had been in force when I was playing in the Northern Counties East Football League there would have been more players on the sidelines than on the pitch most of the time...

I should imagine "grass roots" as referring to the lower  or non league teams to see how successful it is before introducing it across the board
