Finally got around to watching it last week. Thought it was very good. Hard to watch some scenes. Some interesting side stories. Excellent performance from Joaquin.

Hesperus

Anyone watched “The Keeper” a out our very own Bert Trautmann? It’s just come on Sky. Thought it was really good. Some good CGI of Maine Road.

Watch Breaking Bad again!  I've just restarted it and it's just as good 2nd time around.

Just watched 1st season of Schitts Creek and like it.

The Americans on Amazon is a good long series that has finished now so you can sit and watch it from start to finish. Good stuff.

Swiss

Firstly, 1917. Decent movie, whats more impressive is that's it's shot in two takes.

Also, has anyone watched the boys (Prime).  Its good.

reddishblue

The Invisible Man - Poor attempt at a thriller/suspense type of fillum and fails completely as it is entirely predictable, basically boring shite.

I have major issues with this film...

1. Tarantino has taken a real life tragedy and completely changed the story. There was no need as its pretty brutal anyway.

2. They make Bruce Lee look like an arrogant wimp.

3. Not much happens for a v. Long time. I don't mind slice of life, but this was slice of wrists...

4. Tarantino has disappeared up his own arse with dialogue.

The ending was Tarantino, almost at his best.

The Blue Blooded Maniac

Ye it's a shame the rest of the film didn't match the last 15 minutes.

Yes. Eric Sykes too. He was the one wearing a flat cap with a pencil behind his ear.

Forgot to add as well, the biggest crime of this film, is that Margot Robbie was hardly in it!!!

She was spot on in the Wolf of Wall Street   8)

Any karate kid fans, watch Cobra Kia on Netflix, series one and two...

goat
