Just back from Saudi after a year in that hell hole

Haven't seen my son and grand kids for a year now and they put all these travel restrictions in place last minute

Had to cancel his journey from Manchester to Belfast Via Scotland because there is a travel ban in Scotland

And the Irish politicians cant agree what to do because of religion

Fuck off the lot of you

I know we have to watch this covid thing but fucking hell some leadership would be decent

gavin

Trump and Boris must be the worst leaders in history and it is one of the worst times to have them.

Feel for you Stephen.Hope it's all sorted soon mate.

Does not matter who is charge.Johnson,Gove,Steptoe,Starmer..All incompetent

Stephen Paul

Just hope people remember when the elections come round

goat

they wont stevie, they will just read the mail, sun and facebook and fuck us again

Did your son manage to get anything sorted, Stevie? These late changes have messed a lot of people's lives up, it would have been better just to lockdown nationally in November and give people time to arrange travel. Having different rules for different parts of the country is fucking stupid.

My view as a centralist was that the choices were terrible all round.

Mad Boris
Red Jeremy

One far right, the other far left.

Labour shot themselves in the foot by pushing a leader that no centralist (swing voter) could ever pick. If Stamer was in charge, the election may have been different.
Corbyn also shot himself in the foot over his 'neutral ' stance' on Brexit.
This is where Boris won the majority. Even some diehard Labour voters who backed brexit switched for Boris. This tells you how wrong the Labour Party got it.
In my opinion, Corbyn is a fantasist, living on a socialist fairytale that borders communism. He keeps dangerous company in known terrorist organisations and presided over a party. No matter his policies, there was no way I could vote for this man.
Must be said, that as a civil servant, Corbyn hates us and would have made huge cuts, resulting in 1000's of jobs lost. Not a man for all the people. ;) and its my honest opinion he would have fucked the country.

Boris on the other hand, mad, just bonkers. Staunch brexiteer. Bumbling idiot and a V. Old school tory.
I voted remain. So this was also not an option for me.

As a swing voter, I flit between the two parties based on what they campaign on at the time. I mentioned above I'm a centralist and what I was hoping for was a strong showing from Lib dems. On paper a party that should balance capitalist investment to ensure the economy stays strong with socialist reforms for the people.
In.practice, we got a smiling idiot who looked like a rabbit caught in headlights. When everyone was debating the brexit issue, she was staging photoshoots with the lgbt community. Which is a very important issue as we strive for an equal society, but she missed the topic of the day and failed to get herself on the TV debates.
When she did talk about brexit, she chose a hard cancellation. This turned off any swing voters who wanted Brexit and also other voters who wanted a 2nd referendum. Big mistake. At a time when they needed a strong leader, they got a muppet.

Must stress, this is my opinion and not affiliated with this site or any organisation

No mate , he contacted the ferry in Scotland and they told him not to travel because the police would turn him back

That’s awful Stephenmcfc. Terrible leadership and incompetence by the two main NI parties with decisions twisted by politics v health.
