I thought it was curtains for him at City to be honest. All those injuries and when he did get in the side his confidence looked shot. He was giving the ball away and making other mistakes all too regularly. Those mistakes may well have been down to not getting a run of games but that was mainly caused by the injuries. Once a player gets in a spate of injuries like that, it often carries on throughout the rest of a career. I'm surprised he has been fit for so long this season and full credit to him for having the mental strength and talent to take full advantage. He must have big stones indeed to overcome the injuries and lack of confidence.
