City lost 2-1 unfortunately. I didn't see much of it either because of work.

Was a close game first half, it was pretty much the reserve team second half and athletico's physicality got the better of them.

Good game and a bit spicy at times which will hopefully fire us up nicely for the competitive games.

A friendly, losing is not significant,  improving player match fitness is. So a good workout yesterday.

Start slowly and build up to peak performance as the season goes along. Though a wee win next weekend would be nice and a win on Wednesday 16 August.
