Some decent managers on the list

Horton for was hard done by, a fans favourite during difficult times

gavin

No Hughes or Mancini on that list. One of my least favourites (Hughes) and one of my favourites (Mancini). I still remember KK very fondly but Pep is obviously the best in my lifetime.

For an IT expert expert like yourself it's all too easy to make a mistake during a copy and paste exercise.

I remember Swales announcing "tomorrow will be telling you the name of our new manager who is well known and respected throughout the football world" The next day he introduced Brian Horton as manager and everyone went "Brian who?" Or something like that.

Anyways he was a decent bloke and I enjoyed his stay. Think he was in charge when we walloped the Spuds 5-2 but obviously I could be wrong.

gavin

He was. That was a superb match. Paul Walsh was excellent and some excellent football was played. And also under Horton generally. A decent bloke and a decent manager but, yes, he was rather oversold before his appointment. It didn't do him any favours to start with but he held his own and he could be proud of his efforts when he left. To be replaced by Alan Ball though, that went well  ::) .

Hesperus

Ah, 1996. What a year that was! There's nothing like managerial stability.
