Window closes tomorrow so we better get our skates on if we want to have some new signings for the club World Cup.

Like the look of all the ones we're are linked with but have to say I'm disappointed we're out of the Wirtz race. Thought he was the best of the players available this year.

I think Wirtz is around the cost of all three of our expected signings (Reindeer, Ait Nouri and Cherki) put together which puts into perspective why we haven't pursued it.

So good to have a dedicated left back. That said no doubt Pep will play him up front with Haaland, and put Foden in at left back. I hope I'm joking.

He looks to have a deft touch and loads of skill for a left back. Let's hope he can defend.

Not that I know anything at all about football tactics but I hope to see Gvardiol in the left centre back position more often.
