Man City XI: Donnarumma, Nunes, Stones, Dias, Gvardiol, Reijnders, Silva, Foden, Savinho, Bobb, Haaland.

big changes for half time , this is shite

KunDB

Savinho needs to do so much better on final ball.

We need to up tempo for our attack.

However, I'm very positive we can do much better second half and win this game.

Clear penalty right under the referees nose, ignored.

gavin

Started well enough but with no final ball. But then we completely lost momentum. Nevertheless, Haaland had a decent chance and should have done better. Then there was a blatant penalty push on Gvardiol. Shortly afterwards, Gvardiol barely touched McGinn, who went to the floor far too easily, and an instant free kick.

Stephen Paul

absolute shite , head is melted watching that

gavin

Crap. We have so many attacking players available but they produced next to nothing.

Hesperus

All hope I regained for this season from the previous results, dashed!

KunDB

I wouldn't be too down about that. Aston Villa are a good team and to be honest we deserved a point and could just as easily have won (or lost as we did).

The real issue is we simply do not look like scoring unless Haaland pops the ball into the net. Also, not sharp enough attacking, getting the ball to the byline and putting in dangerous crosses/passes.

We lack cutting edge and are totally reliant on Haaland. On a positive note we are in transmission and will get better.

Stephen Paul

very disappointing result indeed , no excuses for not getting points at Villa

Up next in the PL

Bournemouth H
Liverpool H

Two home games , should be 6 points

Hesperus

We're really lacking goals apart from Haaland. Thought Bob and Savinho were poor. Reindjers continues to fail to make an impact.

Bit of a strange team selection from Pep too.

Reijnders gave us a glimpse of how could he can be at Wolves but has come nowhere near matching that since. I think that he will find that form more consistently in future. It is a bit of a mystery why Doku did not start. He has been the best winger by a distance so far this season.
