Very disappointing news for us City fans.

It's normal that this pops up during the international windows, but somehow this is different. A clear PL leak and more widely reliably reported.

If these are the findings it is astonishing and horrific as it would mean our accounts were deliberately misreported and unlawful. The implications are massive.

For the record we win the CAS appear 2 judges to 1. One judge was adamant we had not told the truth and were guilty as charged.

I think the punishment will be very severe indeed. Perhaps the greatest punishment will be losing this ownership, which has been really good for Man City, in every other way.

Ask the other clubs in the PL will be hoping we get American owners who, like their own clubs, exploit the finances of the club for their own benefit and care little about the fans.

I can take relegation and I am and always will be a City fan with, or without, the superstars.

The idea that other clubs are clean is laughable, Liverpool stole our database, Chelsea were found guilty and even screwed fair play finance rolled by selling their women's team and car pals to themselves to raise (manipulatively) their revenues to keep with the rules.

But cheating is cheating, lying is lying, false accounts are false accounts. And by pleading innocent when guilty the club and its leaders have meant the punishment will be even more horrendous than if they had owned up and pleaded guilty. And, fans have had to suffer protracted pain.

I've reread the chairman's letter and statements from Friday and 2023.

He tells us to read it carefully, that every word matters and there is so much he wants to say to support how confident they are but can't due to confidentiality agreements.

Hmmm. Intriguing.

The word that sticks out is impartially.

Friday statement:

The Club has diligently respected due process for eight years on the basis that the Premier League Board and Executive would behave as an independent, impartial and fair-minded regulator, free from partisan influence.


So what if City have good evidence that the PL have NOT behaved independently or impartially or free for partisan influence? 

If that were to be the case, then this whole process is a sham and we would have very serious grounds to take the to a civil court.

2023 statement:

The Club welcomes the review of this matter by an independent Commission, to impartially consider the comprehensive body of irrefutable evidence that exists in support of its position.

No mention in this statement of the PL being this independent commission, is there? Just an "Independent Commission". That's an interesting statement if you read it carefully and that every word matters.  Because  the independent commission City are talking about could be a court of law....

We're City always expecting us to be found city by the PL but they are confident that they had grounds to take this to a civil case similar to CAS? In which case the burden of proof would be much much higher on the PL to provide fraud.

We were guilty the moment the PL announced the charges by the media and opposing fans, so this is no suprise this outcome when the independent panel were appointed by the PL. How independent is that?
We all know PL has been after City since we where taken over. The red cartel shit themselves, now they wanking over this result. Let them enjoy this moment, it is not over, if we really are guilty then we should take our medicine and move on.
But my question is to other supporters is: are you sure your club is not doing the same creative accountancy? Im sure they are all doing it.
