15 mins of pre-match speeches, flower presentations and now a minute's silence!  :D

Nice free kick from Kolarov. 1-0

Rowley Birkin QC

Did someone nail the keeps feet to the ground then?  :D

Rowley Birkin QC

Nice to watch a game when Sterling isn't being booed every time he goes near the ball.

Not too many Scousers to be found in Vietnam I presume.

No benefits on offer probably.  ;)

Good finish from Raheem and then Silva taps in, 3-0.

Suprising as they'd have you believe they're as well supported as Utd's 30 billion fans around the world...

shandon

So far easily beating an entire country - I'm impressed  :D

Rowley Birkin QC

Never underestimate the Vietnamese though. A remarkable people in many ways

A bit out classed so far though...

Commentator on the feed is a bit dopey. Hasn't realised we've changed goal keepers yet  :D

[edit]

A full 5 minutes before he noticed.

0-5 now. I'm starting to tentatively wonder if we can reach double figures.

Mass substitutions all round...

7-0, vietnam not very good

Rowley Birkin QC

We're playing with our least experienced back four now (apart from Kolarov). Be interesting to see if we keep a clean sheet.

bluebrendan

Obviously not the most taxing friendly but good to see the link-up play between Sterling/Silva/Iheanacho plus Garcia's great potential.

Cancel that - I didn't notice Mangala was on.

Rowley Birkin QC

Some concerted Vietnam pressure rewarded with a late goal 1-8

(Knew we wouldn't keep a clean sheet  :D )

All those Far East betting syndicates must have had Vietnam last goal.  ;)

Yep , unreal ffs

Watched the goals, I guess playing football isnt big in Vietnam. They could not defend and the goalkeeper was comic, difficult for him to catch a cold. Sterling looked good, but who wouldnt against the opposition.
