Thanks, obviously they aint going to show all the ones he hit into row Z and incomplete passes but several of the clips show him chasing players down and just getting into space and he looks hungry, i am really looking forward to seeing him play.

It gives you an idea of what he can do, but not if he can do it consistently.

What I took from that video is:

His movement is good
His awareness of other players runs (not Linaker runs) is good
He can pass with inside and outside of foot
He operates from right, left and centre: very important if we're playing an interchanging RS, DS & KDB
he has good control of the ball
Kolarov will have competition from free kicks
He looks like a player who knows he's going to score (confidence)

I've heard from a chavs fan:
He's not the best defensively: I'm sure this will come into his game if true... hopefully and if not, then we make amends.
He's not the fastest of players... Doesnt' matter with intelligent use of the ball and good movement, the vid showed that he's not slow, maybe not lightening fast but...

Lets give him 6 months before we let him rot in the reserves
