Sad thing is that I think the key could be the fitness of otherwise of just one of those players - again.

The squad is good but it's lacking depth in the defensive area which was the problem last season too. Hopefully the new keeper will solve one of the glaring but we are still very light in the fullback position and one Vinny injury away from pretty weak CB pairing.

Thanks for this Swiss, for CM, we look light. If the EDS lads step up great, if not, Toures legs have gone and Gundog, though a really good player, has injury problems - sick note.

Looking at the rest, if Kompany plays the majority of games, we stand a chance in most competitions. If not, we will ship lots of goals. That probably means a new CB, or has mangled had a new lease of life?
