Does Pep have a big enough squad to win EPL and CL?

Last season we also start like this- house on fire- but after a couple of losses Pep changed the style of play from close marking to a zonal system.
Did he realise he did not have the ideal players for such a game?
With injuries creeping up....Mendi out cannot play Sergio and Jesus together... where Sane fits in. Just an example

There's always going to be injuries over a season but to win both will take a bit of luck that there isn't a lot. Stones injury is a blow as he had become a key player in the defence. As we know Vinny is okay there but he could break at any second. We have the squad to do it if we do not have a bad season with injuries. If we have to play Mangala in key matches then we're likely fucked. Up front we have quite a bit of cover.

Mendy is a miss but he didn't really play for long enough to be a key component of the team. Delph is nowhere near as good going forward but also as a result he's less likely to go missing so its ups and downs there really.

Injuries to defence will be the key.

We could do with swapping a couple of also rans out, but other than that, yes we have a squad that can compete

Hesperus

A new LB in Jan I think is a priority. This would free Delph up to cover Fern in midfield which is also where we are a bit light. Sanchez would also help keep the forwards fresh.

Don't know, do we? Pep certainly doesn't think so of Ya Ya. Maybe Gundog could do a job but doesn't have the energy levels of Delph or Fern.

His subs against Huddersfield proved that his tactics and selections and the teams resolve are working perfectly. Woe u disbelievers....
