Never seen him play, apart from the usual youtube stuff. Have to trust Pep though. I'm sure he'll be good on the ball....but who knows about defending. Doesn't seem to be Pep's priority.

You could see immediately why he's been signed. His distribution was incredible for a central defender. His short balls were impeccable and he pinged long balls to the wings imperiously. I wasn;t surprised when I heard Pep describe his debut as amazing. I thought it was too. Though defensively he couldn't have had a much easier night so on that score it is still wait and see.
