Best of luck to Joe. Seems a bit of a weird one for them to buy him when they've two young keepers. They're injured but you'd think that Burnley would just want a loan journeyman to fill the gap for now. Be interesting to see if he plays all season as number one.

I thought he behaved with a great deal of grace under a lot of pressure when it became clear that he wasn't on Pep's 'want list', and that's something that can't be said for all of City's league winners who have moved on. Two league medals - no other City keeper has that. Good luck to him at Burnley.

Can't be many teams ever had 3 England international 'keepers in their squad at the same time before. Joe looks quite good value as a Fantasy League pick for the start of the season, until Heaton & Pope are fit again. If he's ahead of Anders Lindegaard (also an international 'keeper), that is.
