Does it really benefit City not playing this weekend

By the time the Wolves match comes round most teams will have played twice

The postponed Villa game will have to be rescheduled and with the CL and LC coming soon , it will mean a busy period for City

If Pep and the players are happy about it I am. I think they are mostly. It is going to be a long, hard season for them either way though.

Think I’m with you Stephen. I’m not sure it’s doing us any favours either. It feels like we’ll be starting our season undercooked and playing catch-up.
