The lack of fans has drained cash from clubs round Europe. Many more clubs would fall foul of FFP, so is it being binned off? Hopefully.

200 clubs in Europe now in debt and guess what FFP stops owners and others ploughing money in to save them. Read Barcelona Real Madrid etc. So in UEFAs words FFP rules they no longer serve their purpose. Indeed they don’t.

So being changed to restrict wages paid and transfer fees etc. Measures that help the status quo stay as the status quo.

They’ve lost trying to shaft City and are now looking at alternative means to maintain the elite clubs status for the future. Hence, the CL revamp, 10 year founder CL free pass, far more money for CL clubs, application of coefficient points and two byes for clubs that did not make the CL on merit.

Liverpool, Utd free passes in case they don’t qualify.

All rigging the rules to maintain the preferred status quo of elite clubs.

Coefficient is as you say Silvablue, to keep the "big" clubs at the party. Stinks.
