It was the most exciting transfer of my youth. Up there with the great signings of Aguero and Haaland on the day we learnt he was coming. He only stayed a year but he still looks the part now. RIP.

I remember him pinging an absolute belter into the top corner at Maine Road at Xmas 1981. We were playing Wolves and won 2-1. His goal sent us (briefly) to the top of the league. So young to die of a heart attack. RIP Trevor.
