CITY XI: Ederson, Walker (C), Stones, Akanji, Ake, Rodrigo, Kovacic, Bernardo, Doku, Alvarez, Haaland

Subs: Ortega Moreno, Dias, Phillips, Grealish, Gvardiol, Nunes, Foden, Bobb, Lewis

Quite a few changes!

KunDB

Rotation and keeping players in match peak form in case of injuries.

C'mon City

KunDB

Four changes
Ruben Dias, Josko Gvardiol, Phil Foden and Jack Grealish out from the team that won the derby..

Manuel Akanji, Nathan Ake, Mateo Kovacic and Jeremy Doku are their replacements.

gavin

A decent half in the end apart from Haaland being wasteful again. We started quite ponderous but once we got going after half an hour we've looked great. Doku just had a few rough edges to rub off before he's world class.

KunDB

Beautiful football. Haaland is saving his top form for the second half of the season.

Totally pissed off we didn't get a clean sheet.

gavin

We had to improve our goal difference and did. Another great afternoon at the Etihad. Doku has been a great signing.

Same here, but we surely are not as pissed off as Ederson.

We are in need of a clean sheet more often or else we will pay a price.

Arsenal lost at Newcastle, Liverpool drew at Luton (WTF!). A great weekend so far apart from the rags scrawping a win. Though maybe Ten Hag clinging on to his job for a bit longer might not be too bad. Come on Chelsea against Spuds tomorrow. The football season is hotting up so of course there is another international break coming up FFS.

Stephen Paul

watched the Luton game and the scousers were shit

Hopefully we can turn them over in a couple of weeks

gavin

Chelsea just about managing to beat 9 men Spuds. A great end to a great weekend.

Stephen Paul

Great weekend of results
The haters will hate even more
