CITY XI: Ortega Moreno, Lewis, Akanji, Ake, Gvardiol, Kovacic, De Bruyne (C), Bernardo, Savinho, Foden, Haaland

Subs: Carson, Walker, Grealish, Doku, Gundogan, Nunes, Simpson-Pusey, O'Reilly, McAtee

Unchanged! I expect McAtee will start next week at least.

An unchanged team for the first time in ages.

A very mixed bag that first half. Two nil will do though. We just need to be more steady at the back in the second half.

Another fantastic three points and great to get some goals. But we're still incredibly dodgy at the back at times.

Incredibly dodgy at the back is the understatement of the year.

That needs sorted ASAP if we are to win or perform well this year.

Savinho had a very good game again but he too nearly gave a goal away with a careless pass. There are just so many of them in our games these days. Akanji was guilty on a few occasions and was lucky to get a foul when caught napping on the ball again. It really is a concern that we are giving the ball away so much these days. Then when we give it away, it is so easy to fly through our midfield and past the defence. Pep gets paid the big bucks and he is going to earn it if he sorts this out this season.

Two wins on the bounce suggests we might avoid relegation 🤣🤣😂. However,  I welcome the win but again it was not a convincing win other than the scoreline says.

We are too slow all over. It seems the days are gone when we fight for possession all over the pitch. Not only that no-one is running into space either.

On the bright side we gained 2 points on United and Liverpool :)

I was hoping for the rags to get hammered to be honest. We have no chance of catching Liverpool. But at least the rags didn't win even though they actually looked to play much better against Liverpool than they did against us from the bits I saw! They were really very poor indeed against us until we handed them the win.

I actually thought we were better at closing down the opposition in this game. But yeah, too slow. Too many mistakes. And still not following runners.

Good to get back to winning ways.
