Ederson, Lewis, Khusanov, Ake, Gvardiol, Nico, De Bruyne (C), Savinho, Foden, Doku, Marmoush

Subs: Ortega Moreno, Dias, Kovacic, Grealish, Gundogan, Bernardo, Reis, Nunes, McAtee

Come on City

KunDB

No Haaland, no Dias but I'm still excited.

Khushanov at centre back and Marmousch the cutting edge of our attack. A glimpse of the reborn City team next season.

C'mon City. Show your fans your mettle.

Fucking corner again

We cant defend or take corners

gavin

Aside from the goals, we have played quite well but unfortunately you have to be able to defend occasionally in football.

Hesperus

We've created very very little. It's been too easy for Liverpool. They aren't out of 2nd gear.

This formation isn't working offensively either.

Kushanov played pretty well.

KunDB

First half was fairly even, other than we just can't defend.

Once again Lewis the weakest link.

Pep madness and mad tactics playing him.

KunDB

#7
We are beaten and the three points are what matter most.

That said I do feel we are improving and the real goal is to be ready and up and running next year.

Great to be a blue, win or lose

Khusanov was a positive today and Marmousch.

Unfortunately good as Doku us drinking he just wasted any advantage gained from it.

gavin

I thought Liverpool looked pretty poor. But City's defending is worse than that.

Hesperus

Liverpool just employed the low block and we hand no answer. Too easy for Liverpool. Loads of possession for us but zero quality in the final third.

Hope Haaland isn't out injured much longer, without him, playing the tactics we played today, we'll really struggle to score.

Swiss

Some good signs of patterns of play.

Would rather have seen Divin Mubama come on up front

Stephen Paul

Liverpool were very average , just shows how poor we are

Hesperus

They were less gung ho than under Klopp but I don't think they were poor. You could argue they managed that game very professionally. Got a couple of goals up and totally nullified our attacking play. Do agree it's shows, again (repeatedly this season unfortunately) how far our level has dropped.

Swiss

Need enough in the tanks for 4th place
