I'm sorry to report that I have been told that Brendan who used to post regularly on here and was an administrator has died. He hasn't posted for a couple of years here but he will be sadly missed. I used to see him at the ground most matches for a while too and had some good banter with him over the years. A kind, good humoured and loyal blue.

Very sad news, remember him well. Old school blue. Always the voice of reason and knew his football.

RIP Bluebrendan. ☹️

I remember him well from this site. So sad to hear he has passed way. My condolences to his family and May he rest in peace. Another blue in heaven cheering on City.

A short Eulogy from me:

Bluebrendan, a name synonymous with unwavering sky-blue loyalty in the pubs and terraces around Manchester, has passed away. From the muddy pitches of the 1960s, where he first witnessed the magic of Bell, Lee, and Summerbee, to the modern glories under Guardiola, his heart beat firmly to the rhythm of "Blue Moon." He'd seen it all, the highs and the lows, the decades of yearning finally giving way to an era of dominance. Though his booming voice will no longer echo the chants, and his familiar face will be missing from the Etihad, the stories of Bluebrendan's lifelong devotion to Man City will surely live on, a testament to a love that spanned generations. He was, through and through, a Blue.

RIP Bluebrendan, may your memory be a blessing to your family and friends.
