New season ticket changes:
10-game minimum personal attendance policy (first of its kind in English football)
Minimum ticket usage policy up to 16 of 19 games (up from 14 last year, 10 the year before, and none at all in past seasons).
A limit of three nominated unpaid members to receive transferred tickets, and no notice given for a 1 week window to complete this.
Nominations for the above restricted to 3 short windows (at first it was just one, with additional windows were only brought in after criticism)
A ban on transferring tickets to other season ticket holders.
Ticket exchange now only available 24+ hours before a game (was 3 hours for some games).
Season ticket download limit: twice per season.

I've had a season ticket since we moved to the new stadium in 2003. I was 30. I'm now 52. In that time I became a Dad, got a job where I had to travel a lot, in the last 5 years I've had a bit of ill health and had to help look after my 78 year old Dad (also a season ticket holder since 2003).

The last 2 seasons have been a challenge for me to attend some games. I've always either transferred my ticket or put it up for sale. In that time I think it only went unsold twice.

Under the new rules transferring or exchanging my ticket counts as non attendance and if I fall below 10 games I could have my season ticket revoked.

Im so disgusted,  disappointed and resentful with the club for this.

This impacts a large number of season ticket holders. I hope the club see sense and change the policy. Who ever came up with it should be sacked.

I realise the club want as many ticket holders at the games as possible but where circumstances intervene, so long as you've done all you can to ensure your seat is taken, that should be enough.

I shouldn't have many problems with that generally. But it is possible that I might need to work in the Netherlands for a while in which case I might. The rules do seem to be becoming more and more complex. It's fair enough that people should be encouraged to list their tickets on exchange as soon as possible if they cannot make the match. But this is definitely going too far. It's like the season ticket equivalent of Financial Fair Play. It starts with a decent goal and then becomes corrupted for reasons otherwise.
