Whilst we are waiting for Swiss to give the winner, I will celebrate Arsenal not winning. I'm delighted for football that those sort of tactics were not successful in Europe.

It looks like Enzo Maresca is the man lined up. Rumours of a 3 year deal. I too am hoping Vinny will come back to us. Probably now is not the right time for him though. Tough act to follow!

If we got Vinny from Bayern Munich that would do the trick. That would be a real coup and really exciting. It would take really special players to have a similar effect. I cannot think of any other manager than Vinny that would really excite me after Pep.

We will need a pick me up that's for sure.

I reckon will spend a bit of money this summer to try to lift the morale at the club.

I couldn't agree with the Hesperus and Gavin posts above any more than I do.

It's like a void, what happens next. The important thing is to lower our expectations and accept the new manger and team are not the old Pep team and just support them 100%.

I said yesterday Pep is City and City is Pep. He built every aspect of this club to be better and with the highest standards. I just hope that continues, but the way Enzo treated Sterling at Chelsea disgusts and worries me. Show respect to all players and staff, successful or failing.

If we become a club that wins the league every now and then, then that is success. Look at United, Arsenal and Liverpool and their decades without. Be humble, patient and never expect to match what Pep did. He is very special.
