I'm not renewing. I cancelled my season ticket after an incident in the Kits bar at the match against Exeter. The club are all over corporate fans and day trippers. The cannot do enough for them. But their treatment of legacy fans is disgusting. They do not listen at all when told. They ban you from matches for complaining and expect you to pay for the matches that you are banned for.

The team and Pep are great and deserve support. But some of the staff, security and disciplinary, are beneath contempt. Unfortunately, it means that Pep and the boys will miss out on support. However, I'm not paying £900+ for a season ticket and the odd £90 for special tickets to see my friend, who has supported City for over 50 years, treated like dirt by staff. Incidentally, Kits is also an area that used to general admission.

I was using the matchday bus. But that left 2 hours and 15 minutes before the match and also took an age to get back. It was a bit unreliable at times but generally a decent service but the traffic is the traffic. It is a full working day to go to the match now, from 14 miles away! I think about the same distance from Bolton?! So it is probably similar to you. It was a pain but I was tolerating it.

citymancs / Season ticket renewal - I’m no...

It'll soon be season ticket renewal time. I've held a ST for over 20 years, since we moved to the Etihad.

First time I'm seriously considering not renewing. Any else feel the same?

Some of my reasons:

The cost. It's £87.50 a month. It's gone up over 100% since my first ST. My seat isn't great for viewing.

Getting there. I live in Bolton but getting to games is a real mission. It used to be easy. Burnhams bus lanes, parking restrictions. Volume of traffic etc. all add to the problem.

The fact you can no longer easily transfer your tickets.

The terrible club policy of threatening to revoke ST if you don't physically go to the games.

I had some health issues over the last few years. Meaning I found it hard to go to all the games

The constant daft game KO times.

Getting towards mid 50's. I feel disappointed but started to feel like the time is right to pass the baton on to a younger generation.

Anyone else feel the same?

Another great win. Characterful. Leeds didn't have many chances second half but nerve wracking nonetheless.

That was a second half performance in the first half for the most part. Hopefully, we will have a first half performance in the second half now. Great to be 1-0 up though. We came into it in the last 15 and it was a beautifully worked goal. A cracking ball from Cherki to Ait Nouri and then the perfect cross for Semenyo to score.
