It's good to invest in youth but even with that fee, it's probably going to end up a profit making enterprise rather than an investment in the first team. The Premier League is scattered with our former youth players.

OFFICIAL: Pierce Charles has signed a five-year contract at #ManCity until the summer of 2031.

Charles will now join Championship side Queens Park Rangers on loan for the 2026/27 season.

August and September TV games have now been announced and we have two home matches on a Saturday at 3pm in September.

Maybe it is just my dodgy eyesight at my great age, but I think City may have pulled a fast one. Enzo is a disguised Pep Guardiola. This is one of the cleverest plots I've seen in my long life. The other PL teams will be totally confused.

He's played all 4 games and I've tried to watch him closely. I've not been hugely encouraged but could say that about the rest of the team with a couple of exceptions in Kane and Bellingham.

He's been involved a lot and seen plenty of the ball but I haven't seen the quality there yet.
