This excellent article is very revealing about the Allan Ball / Frank Clark era and the mind set of English football as a whole. English football and English managers are still trying to catch up IMO.

English football is still narrow minded. The amount of bollocks talked by 'experts' on TV about how Pep has to change his tactics is amazing. I'm convinced we can win it all with his tactics as long as we finish a similar amount of chances to the other teams.
